The German-Italian tours always start at 4 p.m. on the station forecourt (in front of the tourist information office) and last around one and a half hours.
The cost is 4 euros per person and is collected on site. Children up to the age of 12 can join the tour free of charge. Prior registration is required by calling 02371 - 2171820 or by sending an email to stadtinfo@iserlohn.de with a telephone number. The number of participants is limited. Up to 4 mobile transceivers for hearing assistance can be provided for the city tours. These must be reserved at the time of booking.
By the way, city tours "in German only" will of course also take place outside the European Championship period. Look forward to historical tours through the center and special themed tours such as herb and forest tours, tours on water management or famous women of the city. The night watchman tours and cemetery tours are also a special highlight, as are guided hikes along the wire trade route.
Would you prefer to explore Iserlohn's history on your own? Let's get going! Grab our "Small city tour" flyer or immerse yourself in the world of Iserlohn's museums. Here, regional and city history as well as the history of Mark Brandenburg craftsmanship become visible. And the industrial-historical Maste-Barendorf factory complex and the impressive Dechenhöhle cave with its adjoining cave museum prove time and again that museums are anything but boring.
