Public training - Everything soccer fans at Hemberg need to know

07.06.2024

The anticipation is growing. On Monday, June 10, the Italian national soccer team will arrive in Iserlohn, with the first official training session scheduled for the following day at the Hemberg, which will also be held as a public training session. A total of 4,000 young and old soccer fans will then be able to attend the training session in Iserlohn's Hemberg Stadium. In total, the city of Iserlohn received over 14,000 ticket requests from the local region and all over Germany. "The interest was simply incredible. Now we have to enjoy this special time. But of course we also know that we had to disappoint a lot of children, a lot of people of Italian origin, because we simply couldn't give out more tickets. We hope that they will also be able to enjoy this special summer with us at our public viewings or the many inner-city festivals," said Michael Joithe, Mayor of the City of Iserlohn.

Preparations for training at Hemberg are currently still in full swing. "We ask all visitors to arrive as early as possible. Please make sure you use public transport, as parking spaces are not available for all guests," says Christian Kißmer, EM project manager for the city of Iserlohn. Together with his team from the sports office of the city of Iserlohn, he has organized the event and also planned a varied supporting programme. "We can't reveal all the details yet, but all guests can look forward to a surprise."
