Casa Azzurri

It is not only the media center of the Italian national team, but also a popular meeting place for fans during the tournament: the Casa Azzurri.

Following the Squadra Azzurra's progress, one thing is certain: the Casa Azzurri will remain open to all fans of the Italian national team in the Matthias Grothe Hall. It will be open daily from June 26 to Saturday, June 29, from 12 noon to midnight.

Equipped with a soccer museum, which tells the highlights of Italian soccer history with various exhibits, as well as numerous indoor and outdoor game stations, stands of the sponsors of the Italian national team and a souvenir store, there is a lot to experience and discover here. A varied program awaits guests every day and, of course, live broadcasts of the European Championship matches on match days. With good Italian food and cool drinks, the atmosphere here is incomparable and the mood is exuberant.

What you should know about Casa Azzurri?
As the press base of the Italian Football Federation, the Italian radio, television and news teams as well as federation officials and some players come and go here.

The Casa Azzurri has a long tradition and was established back in 1998. Since then, it has been at all of the Italian national team's European Championship and World Cup bases. Until 2021, it was not open to the public at all, with access reserved exclusively for journalists and sponsors. Now Iserlohn is celebrating a premiere: not only is the Italian national team visiting our beautiful forest city for the first time, but Casa Azzurri is also open to the public for the first time and welcomes guests and fans from near and far every day!

When can you visit the Casa Azzurri?

Good news for all fans of the blue house: as the Italian national team has reached the round of 16, Casa Azzurri will be open from 12 noon to midnight up to and including Saturday, June 29.

The longer the Italian national team stays in the tournament, the longer you will have the opportunity to visit Casa Azzurri, as it will remain open on the Hemberg for as long as the team is in the tournament.

How can you visit Casa Azzurri?

You are cordially invited to experience the Italian flair of the Caza Azzurri in the middle of Sauerland! However, you will need a ticket to do so. This is available free of charge, you just have to register for it.
Tickets for the next few days, up to and including June 29, are now available and can be booked. The contingents will be added gradually. If the day is shown as "full", just check back later!

Wondering why you need a free ticket? There is a pragmatic reason for issuing free tickets: your safety is important to the city of Iserlohn and those responsible at the Italian association! As the number of people in the hall and on the outdoor area is limited, those responsible can only keep an eye on the capacity limits by means of an admission solution.

The concerts always take place one day before the Italian preliminary round matches, on June 14, 19 and 23, and are initially reserved for invited guests. Don't worry: the concerts will take place in such a way that the German team's matches can still be watched! The concerts will be broadcast on the radio two days later at 9pm.

Food mile
With a round bar inside the hall and also outside the canteen, one of the main sponsors of Casa Azzurri not only provides a visual highlight, but also the typical soccer drinks supply. There will also be all kinds of delicacies in the Pinseria and at other food stands.

Other sponsors will set up a barbershop or an interactive play corner and look forward to your visit!
