Iserlohn has excellent connections to the vibrant Ruhr area and the idyllic Sauerland region - a stone's throw away by car, so to speak. The A46 and the Sauerland A45 are right on the doorstep and the A1 and A44 can also be reached in just a few minutes by car.
Traveling by train? Also a good decision. With four stops and two stations, Deutsche Bahn not only takes you to Iserlohn, but also around the city.
Even within Iserlohn you will find an excellent infrastructure and attractive means of transport to get from A to B!
Are you here by car? Then you will appreciate the numerous parking spaces and multi-storey parking lots around the city center. There are also numerous bicycle parking facilities and a bicycle parking garage.
If you want to get around quickly, you can rent one of the e-scooters scattered around the center and simply leave it at your destination. And if that seems too risky, you can travel safely by bus, cab or, in the evening, by shared cab (AST).
